The Catholic Church has entered a new chapter with the election of Cardinal Robert Prevost as Pope, who has adopted the papal name Leo XIV. Hailing from Chicago and born in 1955, Pope Leo XIV brings a remarkable mix of intellectual depth, missionary fervour, and compassionate leadership to his role. After joining the Augustinian Order, he spent more than a decade serving as a missionary in Peru, gaining invaluable insights into the challenges that the global Church faces.
